We are looking for Simulation Engineers for our Healthcare Sector in Wuxi, we are producing and developing key components for medical equipment. The mission is to accelerate x-ray tube development by using state of the art electrostatic and thermal simulations. Foster simulation competence to evaluate concepts and design variants before building prototypes.
What are my Responsibilities: 1. Finite element simulations of electron optics and particle tracking by using existing tool to predict focal spot sizes of cathodes during concept and development phase. 2. Finite element simulations of thermal behavior cathode and x-ray tube by using existing tool to check thermal management during concept and development phase. 3. Finite element simulation of anode, bearing assembly by using existing tool to create input for high level modeling of x-ray tube. 4. Documentation of results and used models. 5. Comparison of simulated results with production or prototype data to validate simulations. 6. Adaption of existing scripts to automatize simulation tasks. 7. Propose necessary measurements to validate simulations.
What do I need to qualify for this job: 1. Bachelor degree or above in material science, physics, electrical engineering or comparable. 2. At least 5 years experience with finite element simulations. 3. Basic knowledge in design of vacuum components. 4. Advanced knowledge of high temperature properties of materials. 5. IT knowledge with Microsoft office especially Excel and PowerPoint. 6. Basic knowledge of Matlab, Siemens NX or comparable software. 7. Strong sense of responsibility, proactive and positive coordination and communication. 8. Good team working skills and systematic and structured working style. 9. Fluent English communication capability both in written and oral. 10. Be able to familiarize fast in complex technical topics, and to penetrate these and derive solutions.
