Mechanics: Drive structural design verification and optimization for New Production Development and New Technology Development projects through FEA simulation or engineering calculation; Conduct structural analyses (static, dynamic, vibration, seismic, fatigue, etc.) to direct design and realize project development cycle time reduction; Identify structural design risk and provide design solutions via analytical and experimental approaches; Develop new finite element analytical techniques for both steady-state and transient problems;
Job Requirements/Qualifications: MS or PHD Degree in Acoustical, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or Acoustics. >3 years (MS) experience in acoustics and/or structural dynamics required. Working knowledge in Acoustics and Structural Dynamic Test Techniques and Dynamic Test Instrumentation. Working knowledge of numerical analysis methods and softwares (ANSYS desirable); Ability to work in a team environment, applying theoretical and test knowledge to product sound and vibration control. Good verbal and written communication skills required.
