• Manage manufacturing modeling and simulation production engineering • Build architecture expertise that advances production technologies and supports the long-term vision of the MIC, as well as the engineering and scientific communities • Facilitate design processes and link the business planning strategy with product definition and development • Inspire advanced engineering principles, theories, technologies, and concepts • Influence standards, applications, tools, and processes related to producibility assessment, dimensional management, and the use of producibility methodologies in design/build concept development • Develop, document, and communicate producibility best practices • Develop and recommend solutions to complex problems • Manage advanced manufacturing solutions and conduct independent research that results in new products or business opportunities • Consult manufacturing and technologies expertise on an industry-wide basis in China • Manage other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
